Oily Skin Care – Great Tips to Turn Shine Into a Beautiful Glow

January 31st, 2011

I’m a little bit disappointed about oily skin care. The frequent products available on the market just do not do it. I’ve carried out some research into oily skincare products and solutions and here’s what I’ve observed. Oily skin care needs cleansing to stop clogged pores. The issue here is with what you’re using to clean your encounter. If you happen to be using the heavily advertised brands you won’t be pleased. They are ordinarily chemical primarily based and particularly irritating.

They are able to trigger the skin to flake plus the synthetic chemical substances could effectively be poisonous. Alcohol is yet another ingredient that requirements to be avoided for the reason that it is drying and irritating. Use an organic soap having a natural lotion. Do not wash in tap water if achievable as h2o having a superior focus of minerals may be the best option.

Argan Oil: A Fabulous Organic Skin Care Gift

January 30th, 2011

Argan oil is one of the best Holiday presents you can give to a woman this year. It not only enables them them to help improve their complexion but also shows them how much you are thinking of them – the Moroccan women of the Sahara didn’t use Argan oil to protect them from the hot Sahara Desert sun for nothing.

Argan oil is extremely rich in tocopherols (vitamin E), phenolics and carotenes, all of which are very powerful antioxidants, and also squalene which is a powerful skin moisturizer. The antioxidant content of Argan oil protects the skin against the damaging effects of the UV radiation in sunlight, which would lead to serious wrinkles and leathering of the skin if nothing was done to prevent it. Many pale skinned people in the hot states of the USA end up with tough leathery and wrinkled skin because of these effects of the sun.

The powerful antioxidant propeties of Argan oil enable it to destroy the oxidizing free radicals that can rupture your cell membranes and pogressively destroy a large number of the cells in your body, including your skin cells. These free radicals are generated not only by sunlight, but also by pesticides and atmospheric pollution from industrial and traffic emissions and tobacco smoke. Why do you think that heavy smokers tend to die young. Free radicals are also formed during the cellular respiration that is your body’s process for creating energy in your cells from glucose and oxygen.

Because they kill off the cells in your skin, they rapidly form deep wrinkles, and you look a lot older than you really are. Argan oil prevents this, and can be used by anybody to help their skin remain looking younger for longer. Argan oil is a great gift for any woman, especially for those that know what it can do for their skin.

However, it doesn’t just stop there because Argan oil contains more than just these powerful antioxidants. It also contains the moisturizing squalene that keeps your skin soft and moist, and also a number of health-promoting fatty acids. This really is a great gift to give anybody, male or female. It can be used as a nourishing night oil and to protect the skin in cold, dry weather. If you have any hard areas of skin, Argan oil will soften them.

Lavender and Argan together is a good soother for your skin after exposure to the sun, and if your nails are brittle, you can make them stronger and your cuticles softer by applying the oil to them each night. You can also rub it into your hands and face to keep them feeling lovely soft and smooth. It really is a panacea for all sorts of problems with hard, rough, dry and wrinkled skin and an excellent choice for anybody as an organic skin care gift.

The oil has found a number of unusual uses, such as a cream to remove stretch marks after pregnancy by a woman who was allergic to regular anti-stretch mark creams, and is also great to use for your scalp and hair if you have been out in the sun too long. It makes your hair more silky and takes away the brittleness – your girl will just love this, or your guy if he is out in the sun a lot and getting problems with too much sun on his scalp.

Let’s not forget the fatty acid content of Argan oil. The fatty acids help support the immune system and also help to retain moisture in your skin and the mucus membranes of your nose and pulmonary system. They also help to reduce blood pressure, cholesterol levels and to decrease the risk of you suffering diseases of the cardiovascular system. These latter effects would naturally be slight were you simply rubbing the oil onto your face or hands, but they are there nevertheless.

Argan is not the only oil suitable as a gift during the holiday period, and there are many more organic skin care products that you can give. Smomg them are a wide range of oils that offer a very large number of properties and different effects on you skin and hair. There is also a range of essential oil soaps, moisturizers and hair care and scalp care products that would make fabulous organic skin care gifts.

However, Argan oil is one of the best you will find because if its powerful antioxidant properties. It is considerably more effective than olive oil, and for antioxidant skin care there is nothing that can beat it so it make a great gift for these reasons alone.

The Beginner’s Guide to Organic Skin Care Products

January 30th, 2011

Can you imagine a world filled with skin care products that cause ZERO negative side effects? Skin care products that are made with 100% all-natural ingredients that work in harmony with your body’s natural processes? The relief of choosing a skin care product that will most likely provide the results you are looking for?

What I’m referring to here is the organic skin care product market. And if many regular skin care manufacturers follow the path that many organic skin care product manufacturers are currently, then the skin care product market will be absolutely revolutionized. However, it’s unlikely that this will happen anytime soon.

The problem with the skin care market now is: There are too many companies producing low-cost, low-quality products and selling them at low prices in locations that are easily accessible to consumers. Do you think they’re going to stop selling these products? NO! But we naturally as humans look for the best deal we can get. So these extremely low quality, low priced products are being used by hundreds of thousands of people. And you know what the sad part is? We have no idea what ingredients are being used in them!

This is why the organic skin care market is really taking off. Many people are now realizing that they are getting what they pay for- cheap products, with cheap ingredients, that produce cheap results (or lack thereof). Unfortunately, most of the people that are using organic skin care products now are using them because regular skin care products were reacting negatively to their skin and body.

What ALL CONSUMERS NEED TO KNOW is they can easily avoid the negative results and side-effects of using a skin care product by using organic and all natural products. Sure they may be a little bit expensive now, but that’s only because they contain the best ingredients from the best sources that produce the best results.

Breakthrough ingredients like Functional Keratin (a patented ingredient known as CynergyTK), extracted from the wool of New Zealand sheep, that can be converted to natural keratin, which you already have in your body, and made readily available to the skin. It also stimulates the production of collagen and elastin in your skin, which allows your skin to stay firm and elastic. Many skin care products now claim to have collagen and elastin in their products. However, collagen and elastin molecules are way to large to be absorbed through you pores, leaving the molecules sitting on your skin and making them absolutely useless!

Another great organic skin care product ingredient is Nanobelle CoenzymeQ10. CoenzymeQ10 (CoQ10) is a vitamin-like substance found in every cell of your body responsible for efficient energy production and protecting capacity, or antioxidant power. CoQ12 is actually used in many skin care products now, but very few of them contain a sufficient concentration of it in a form that can effectively penetrate the skin. Nanobelle CoenzymeQ10 though is a special ‘nano-emulsion’ form of CoQ10 that can penetrate deep down into your skin. And once again, the “effective” CoQ10 found in most skin care products sits on the surface of your skin, providing no benefit whatsoever. Nanobelle Coenzyme10 also has very powerful antioxidant properties and is proven to counteract free radical damage to your cells and even protect your skin against the sun’s harmful UV-A radiation.

One more powerful organic skin care product ingredient I’ll share with you here is active manuka honey. Since ancient times, honey has be used for its wonderful healing properties on the skin. Active manuka honey, exclusively found in New Zealand, has significantly high levels of antioxidants that protect and stimulate your immune system. It can penetrate deep into your skin, nourishing and rejuvenating it, giving you younger and softer looking skin. It’ll even strengthen collagen and protect your body from free radicals. It also has amazing antibacterial properties, making it effective at healing blemishes, including acne and even eczema and psoriasis. Truly power stuff.

Can you see the power that organic skin care products are bringing to the market? Can you think of any reason NOT to invest in organic skin products over regular products? Sure they are a little bit more expensive. But if you jump in the market now, and spread the word about organic products, then a higher demand will bring down the prices to a well-affordable level. It’s all economics. It all makes sense. Organic skin care is the future of effective skin care.

Organic Skin Care Tips for Combination Skin

January 30th, 2011

Combination Skin

Characteristics:

Combination skin, as mentioned in other sections, has numerous skin types throughout the face and body; it can be oily, dry, sensitive, and balanced all at the same time or during different parts of the year. Combination dry skin will be balanced in the T-zone region and excessively dry in the cheek and eye areas. Combination oily skin will be excessively oily in the T-zone region (where most of your oil glands are located) and balanced in the cheek and eye areas. This skin type is very common and is often the most difficult to take care of. This is because you have to treat the dry regions as dry skin and the oily regions as oily skin, and the balanced regions as balanced skin. You may have acne in the oily and sensitive regions and chapping, drying, and chaffing in the dryer regions. Environmentally, this skin has the worst of both worlds (although it may not be as reactive as sensitive skin): in the winter months the T-zone will level off and the cheek and eye areas will dry out while in summer months the cheek and eye areas will normalize while the T-zone secretes too much sebum and oil.

Organic Skin Care Recommendations:

For skin care, you can use some of the recommendations from other skin types. For instance, for the dry regions of your skin, use the recommendations for dry skin; for the oily regions of your skin, use the recommendations for oily skin and for the balanced regions of your skin, use the recommendations for balanced skin. It may be best to simply take some of the important parts to those sections as well. For instance, for a cleanser, you may want to use a simple, water-based, non-foaming cleanser that is gentler on your skin regardless of skin type. Again, if you have to use soap as a cleanser, make sure you only use it on your body in the less dry areas and make sure you use a glycerin based or goat milk soap. Toners are great to refine pores and reduce pore size. Organic green tea and vinegar toners work best for almost all skin types and balanced skin is no different; just make sure that the vinegar is not too strong for the particularly dry regions of the face and body. People with combination skin may want to use a moisturizer in the winter months and shy away from moisturizing in summer months. You can use a heavy cream based moisturizer for the extra dry areas while using a lightweight oil based moisturizer for the balanced or oily areas. As with all skin types, exfoliation is pertinent to healthy skin because it gets rid of dead skin cells; be cautious to not get carried away or you could strip your skin of all that is beneficial in the surface layer. As with all skin types, make sure to avoid excessive heat and make sure to protect your skin from sun damage by using sunscreen and UV protection.
