Business Partners
The Board Network offers businesses an innovative way to combine employee professional development and a commitment to community service. Business Partners of The Board Network provide financial support and identify employees to be candidates in a nonprofit board training and matching program.
Contact The Board Network if your business would like to:
- Have an innovative way to help employees develop teamwork and leadership skills.
- Give employees an effective approach to building community networks.
- Have a new way to recognize valuable employees and help build retention.
- Provide an efficient route for employees to give meaningful community service.
- Integrate employee volunteerism and corporate philanthropy for maximum impact.
Candidates in this program complete an assessment of their interests and skills, participate in a training program on the core responsibilities of nonprofit boards, and receive individual mentoring. Each candidate is connected with a nonprofit based on matching the candidate's passions and interests with the governing needs of that specific nonprofit. Such a "good fit" match can result in a longer-lasting, mutually satisfying connection.
