Nonprofit Services

The Board Network works with nonprofit boards and staff leadership in Maine to help assess the needs of the board, and to improve board governance.

Besides our trainings and on-site consultative workshop and providing up-to-date governance materials through our reference library and bookstore, The Board Network matches trained board candidates to nonprofit boards. (Our current service area for this program is in Greater Portland, as we expand to other regions of the state.)

To date, our trained board candidates have been matched to over 45 nonprofits in the Greater Portland area, Camden, Saco, and Augusta.
